 Katharine McPhee, also known as Katharine McPhee Foster, is an American singer-songwriter and actress with a $13 million net worth. McPhee was a household brand following her appearance in the reality show "American Idol". Since coming in second place on the show, Katharine has released five albums of her own (including a Christmas album), and her 2007 debut album ranked at #2 on the "Billboard" 200 chart.McPhee has also had a successful acting career and has appeared as Karen Cartwright on NBC's "Smash" (2012-2013) and Paige Dineen on CBS "Scorpion" (2014-2018). Katharine made her Broadway debut in April 2018 as Jenna Hunterson in "Waitress" at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Her role was reprised in London's Adelphi Theatre in March 2019 and then appeared on the Broadway stage beginning in November 2019, until the show's end on the month of January 2020.Katharine McPhee, born Katharine Hope McPhee on March 25, 1984 located in Los Angeles, California. Katharine McPhee's dad Daniel who passed away in 2018 was a television producer. Her mother Peisha began her career as a voice coach for the "American Idol". Katharine's younger sister Adriana has also been a participant on the show. McPhee has received training in music from her mother, and she was a part of the stage productions while at Notre Dame High School.
