 Kristy Swanson is an American actress with a $4 million net worth. Kristy is best known as the character Buffy Summers, in the film "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Swanson was born in Mission Viejo on December 19th, 1969. The parents of her knew that she had a passion for acting and she began auditioning in the age of nine. She began going for television commercials and was able to land her first job appearing in a commercial featuring dolls. After that, she landed numerous commercials of her own and started her training in The Actors Workshop, one of southern California's oldest film acting programs.After she began training in The Actors Workshop with R.J. Adams, Swanson starting booking appearances in television shows. Her early TV roles included appearances on "Cagney and Lacey", "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" as well as other series. She also starred on two John Hughes movies. The film "Pretty In Pink" she played a talking part, however she appeared only in the final scene after Hughes changed the ending to make it more appealing to viewers. She also was cast as an unimportant character for "Ferris Bueller's Day Off,"Kristy Kristy Kristy
